RAVEN MO is a Chicago-based designer committed to pushing the boundary of typography while building a diverse, bold and inclusive future.
She began her journey of being a socially conscious creative in designing for non-profit organizations like
SAIC and
AIGA as an in-house designer and student chapter lead before interning at
MATTE PROJECTS, a New York creative agency specialized in experiential campaigns for grammy award winning artists and new media brands.
As a creative system builder who experiments within interdisciplinary principles, Raven loves exploring unfamiliar territories, constantly challenging and nuancing her creative process with a systematic approach to produce rich and robust works.

Leads the most active Chicago student chapter of the largest professional graphic design organization, with a focus on career development and design for social impact. Increased active members count by 600% and doubled funds raised from hosting events in 2019.
Designed and Illustrated for an SAIC student run newspaper. Created a wide range of editorial design, illustrations and data visualization for SAIC’s award-winning monthly journal of arts, culture, and politics.

Teamed up with nine interns on an insight-driven case study that advocated for a socially conscious Gen-Z marketing campaign. Led UX research workshops to establish campaign narrative. Supported creative lead on developing a comprehensive brand experience and developed a fully responsive website with a social media campaign.
Collaborated with the marketing team to develop and execute a full spectrum of creative content such as print collaterals, signage and motion graphics. Clients include real-estate properties such as World Trade Center, Willis Tower and 120 Broadway.
Specialized in brand development, environmental graphics and other forms of communication design that involve campaign concepting, information visualization, digital advertising, creative writing, and photography for academic clients.
